- You often feel sad or blue, or have been diagnosed with mild or moderate depression. You feel low, unmotivated, or unworthy, and want to start feeling like yourself again.
- You’re suffering from dysthymia, postpartum depression, seasonal affective disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, or bipolar II. You struggle with a more severe form depression, and you’re looking for ways to complement or enhance your current treatment method. Meet The Instructor
Ellen Vora, M.D.
Ellen Vora, MD graduated from Columbia University medical school, received her B.A. in English from Yale University, and is a board-certified psychiatrist, acupuncturist, and yoga teacher. Dr. Vora takes a functional medicine approach to mental health–considering the whole person and addressing the problem at the root, rather than reflexively prescribing medication to suppress symptoms. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Vora also writes, blogs, contributes to two healthcare startups, and does corporate wellness presentations.
